The Lumia 735 was first unveiled in September 2014 at the IFA in Berlin and while the 730 made its way to India, the 735 which is a 4G LTE and single-SIM phone in the series was not launched.
Key features of the Lumia 735 are: A 4.7-inch HD ClearBlack OLED display with a 1280×720 pixel resolution. It also has a Snapdragon 400 SoC with the CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and the Adreno 305 GPU along with 1GB RAM. There’s 8GB of storage with microSD support.
On the back there’s a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with a f/1.9 lens. Essentially this is Microsoft’s Selfie camera and has a f/2.4 22mm wide-angle lens and a 5 megapixel sensor on the front. It will come with a Lumia Selfie app preloaded, that lets users tweak images with beautification effects, filters, and teeth whitening.
The battery is a 2220 mAh unit and the Lumia 730 series is compatible with wireless charging. While the Lumia 730 was priced at Rs 15000 when it launched, it remains to be seen how the Lumia 735 smartphone will be priced and whether it be over Rs 20,000 tag for the 4G capability.
